Getting close to finish. The gray in the camo does look better in person or in sunlight. Should be done in with plenty of time to spare (mere seconds).

Looking good Alan. If you apply a gloss clear coat before adding the decals you will avoid that silvering effect seen on the "H" and elsewhere.

Nice Alan. Re the silvering, use a pin to prick holes on the area and add more decal setting solution. It should seep in behind the decal and with luck get rid of the silvering.

The decal film is the decal itself. There is a gloss coat as a base and semi gloss over the decals. I used Set and Sol to settle them. I might try some more clear.

Yes Mom; I have Saturday morning and should be finished enough. Since it's a tricycle landing gear it's a tail sitter for now. I can add weight in the future.

Not completely done; but going to be submitted. The front engine cowl is removeable, and I would have to drill a hole to add weight. Not sure yet exactly how I would do that and don't want to rush and possibly mess up what I have. Here is the Do-335 "as captured". Period photos (see page 1) show them with much more damage and captured Luftwaffe personal were pressed to repair and get them airworthy enough to be flown to France. It would have been in US markings for any flights in Europe; but I didn't want to build it that way.
For the low part count and low cost; there is nothing wrong with Hobby Boss kits. Thanks for all the interest; comments and assistance. Merry Christmas!!
