I searched for an answer on the interwebs to no avail so I'm betting someone here knows.
What are the 4 diagonal lines on the Korean-era Skyraiders vertical stabilizer for? Thanks!

The four lines on tail of AD Skyraider was to adjust the approach light located on leading edge of port wing.
An observer stay at 15 feet forward of approach light and with eye level adjusted to sight over wing at - 2° line,
then adjust approach light so that observer sees center of amber beam....
green beam is downward 7°30 and red beam upward 7°30 to amber beam
