Put into storage at NAF Litchfield Park, AZ.
29/09/1966: Struck off charge.
Transferred to the USAF as 52-135141.
USAF 22nd SOS.
1970: USAF 1st SOS.
1972: USAF 1st SOS.
02/05/1972: Shot down by an SA-7 near Quang Tri, South Vietnam. Or on 02/05/1971?

There was a lot to like between 1946 and 1973 - many variants for several disparate roles and several nations, it was a true workhorse.You have me liking this aircraft very much
