This is the float version of the TBD Devastator. It was a good thing the Navy didn't adopt this as the regular versions were decimated at Midway. However, its not a bad looking aircraft. Kit is the old 1/72 Airfix with scratch built floats and struts. This one was started in Florida and just now finished in North Carolina.
