Happy Holidays my friends:
Now at hand I have a new project that want to share with you: The Dragon Junkers Ju-188 A-3 torpedo bomber in 1/48.
I just love the look of this kite.
For this project I decided to 3d print the crew that consists of 4 german LW and one rusky that was printed because of the body position. Guess that it will require quite an ammount of work, but hell yeah, thats what the hobby is about. To emulate the kite you like.
The lying soviet soldier as it is, will be positioned on the cockpit belly of gondola station.
Guess that the detail will not be visible in this position:
For this purpose, this is the kite I want to emulate that sports the Fug-200 radar and a mean MG in the noseof the III./KG 26 stationed in the North Sea:
Also some aftermarket parts just arrived before X-mas:
This is the first dry fit test in order to check if the crew fit was good enough.
As you can appreciate, some instrument panels has already been positioned and the head of the lying soviet soldier has already been changed to a LW one:
Another view:
Now the works begins and time to enjoy some days with the family.
Hope that everyone in this forum enjoy this holidays among your loved ones, safe and sound....
Greetings and Happy New Year 2025 my friends
Glad to be back!
Gerry
