That was my assumption until I saw the photo. It does look like only 4 guns in the wing.No D models were sent to Australia, note it says RAAF Amberley

This may have been the first aviation research I ever did. Years ago I wondered how could the producers got a hold of so many P-40s. The P-40s didn't look quite right. I think the landing gear proportions and intake looked wrong to me. I found out from Wikipedia they were full sized models powered by automobile engines. They could taxi under their own power.Indeed!
