possibly I have the variant written down somewhere ~ the coded Ju 88G-6's U5 + DT amd MT are from the NF gruppe V./NJG 2 which flew day/night ground attack missions. most of the craft had the radar sets and aerials removed with a crew of 2. Ju 88G-6's from NJG 101 - the craft with the welle camo pattern.
yes the G-6 usually had radar FuG 220d set and rear warning radar too. the U5 coded A/C sometimes carried the aerials but still no radar set as it was not needed for ground attack work ~
from ace pilot to me from Peter Spoden this from NJG 6 one of his JU 88G-6's that he flew in 45. Great friend. passed away at 100 years of age on December 9, 2021.
