I think Bf 109 F-2. I like the contrast of the bicycle resting against the fighters spinner! Bloody cheek!

Bf109G-6/trop Yellow 14 of 6./JG53 which was captured at Comiso airfield on Sicily on July 13, 1943. RAF crewmen with No. 3201 Servicing Commando Unit inspected Yellow 14 and it was determined to be completely intact. Yellow 14 was later shipped to RAF Collyweston and arrived on February 4, 1944. It received the code VX101; the underwing cannon pods and dust filter were removed during testing. VX101 was damaged during a landing accident on September 26, 1944 and afterwards used for spare parts.
At Falcon's (David Weiss) Messerschmidt Bf 109 Hangar, there is a photo of VX101 (Photo ID: 7066) with a second photo (Photo ID: 5431) attached to the file, showing Bf109G-6/R-6/Trop., WNr.15270, StKz RP+DT, yellow 14 of 6./JG53 in original camo at Cosimo AF, just after capture by RAF. Falcon is requesting verification of this a/c (yellow 14, WNr.15270) for being the so far unidentified RAF VX101.

Maybe I should have stated, that this is a hetherto most likely candidate for the identity of VX101. ...just to be clear.
