Actually, that is exactly what the wooden supports were for :)

Bf 109 G-6 - Landing Gear Relief When Parking the Aircraft with Attached Additional Loads

Aircraft that are parked for extended periods with attached additional loads are subjected to high additional loads on the tires and struts, as well as the landing gear suspension.

To relieve the load on the landing gear, the aircraft must be supported as shown. Care must be taken to ensure that no damage is caused to the wings. The supports must be constructed using the simplest means

Yes, the tyres of the Bf 109 were always highly stressed. The angled wheel axis always put a lot of deformation on the inside edge sidewall, virtually folding it over. Unfortunately, the wartime German rubber was of variable quality, and the internal reinforcing carcase of the tyres was a relatively weak canvas.
The mid WW2 heavier versions of the Bf 109 are recorded as suffering many tyre failures, in one quote on slow speed turning, the inside tyre is said to fail if any sharp turn is made.

Unit level engine repair, Supercharger removed. You can see that they are not messing about, the aircraft still has its guns fitted and the engine is still fully dressed, apart from the
upper and lower cowlings, and the left side engine bearer. The supercharger is removed, you can see the open round shaped inlet manifold and throttle outlined by the U-shaped group of pipes hanging low-down, just above the oil cooler. The actual flange mount of the supercharger looks to be covered with a piece of cardboard or similar.
We have to presume the supercharger itself had some problem or damage, it was not normally removed individually. I would expect the supercharger removal and refit work would be done by the DB field engineers, rather than the unit mechanics. The mechanics may have done the engine remove/refit work.

Cheers

It appears the pilot wears glasses, not goggles
Yes, that was noted. The Germans had a close-fitting style of sun-goggles that would not accommodate spectacles.
Generally, I think WW2 pilots were young and had very good vision (by medical selection). I wonder if this was a test pilot? Certainly, he had short or long sightedness to wear
clear spectacles.
