"Bayern" is the German name of a land in the country and means "Bavaria" in the English.

I have been looking for photos of that plane and have only found one and it was taken after capture and has some of what I would consider graffiti on it.
If it is the plane I think it is, it has been restored and now lives at the National Naval Aviation Museum, NAS Pensacola, FL USA.
Any info you have and be willing to share would be most appreciated. I have a personal attachment to this plane.
