Thanks guys. Finished doing the topside with Tamiya Panel Liner Brown and moved on to the bottom. I felt the brown would be too stark so I used my new bottle of Mr Hobby "Mr Weathering Color" I am sold on this. Far easier to work with, with little fuss. Much superior, in my opinion, to Tamiya. They recommend using their solvent to tidy things up but I'm using house brand odorless thinner for oil based paint and enamels and it works very well. I believe this stuff is oil based. One wing done and the other shortly.
There are several other colours but I believe maybe 5-7 or so would be suitable for aircraft
Thank you. Decals on the left side. I think the insignia blue is a shade or two too light. Its supposed to be lighter than NSSB but this could be too much
I'm really liking how this one is turning out Geo. I reckon that once you apply some weathering to the decals, they will both soften and darken enough to make them look just right. Awesome work there!
