Is the 262 a recent addition to the museum? My wife and I were up there at the end of '07, and I remember a Vampire, but not a 262. 'Course...knowing my Swiss-cheese memory...

I can't wait to get up there and visit again next year! This time, I'm forking over the $50 to take the cockpit tour of the Goose.

yes the 262 came in late 07 early 08 and had the pilot Alfred Ambs actually come and visit and give his impressions on what he though his jet A/C looked like camo wise and they used his impressions for Gelbe 5.

first pic is of the inside of the goose looking towards the tail
