I thought i'd already commented on this, but obviously not - must be an age thing (the spiced rum provided by Gp.Cpt. Barr has nothing to do with it !).
Great job Andy, and I had noticed the roundels, but thought that they were only 45 degrees out !

A beautiful job! I appreciate that you filled the wing panel lines, just as NA did. May I ask what technique you used? I am about to try a Tamiya P-51B and am looking for suggestions for this. Thanks.

Thanks for the comment. I filled the wing panel lines with Tamiya's grey surface primer and sanded the areas when the paint was dry. It takes a couple of passes to fill them all the way so patience is needed. I still have some faint lines showing to be honest.
