Pretty much an OOB build and the scheme is the one shown on the box cover, Mustang IV KM272 "Dooleybird" Flown by F/L Arthur S. "Joe" Doley of 19 Squadron RAF in late 1945. These are the finished pics using my cell phone, and the build thread is here: ****DONE: GB-57 1/48 P-51K / Mk.IV Mustang - WW2 Foreign Service

A beautiful job! I appreciate that you filled the wing panel lines, just as NA did. May I ask what technique you used? I am about to try a Tamiya P-51B and am looking for suggestions for this. Thanks.

Thanks for the comment. I filled the wing panel lines with Tamiya's grey surface primer and sanded the areas when the paint was dry. It takes a couple of passes to fill them all the way so patience is needed. I still have some faint lines showing to be honest. The process is described in the build details here and thereafter: **** DONE: GB-57 1/48 P-51K / Mk.IV Mustang - WW2 Foreign Service
