The Anastasia is a space/atmosphere capable ship presented to Dan Dare as a reward by the Venusians for bringing peace to their planet.

The Anastasia incorporates four methods of propulsion including magnetic, and was designed by Sondar to include the best of Treen and Theron technology.

Dan Dare and his co-pilot Digby flew many interplanetary missions in the Anastasia, including trips to Venus, Mars, Mercury and Saturn.

Clave: I think I can qualify as one of the older people here, but I do not
remember "The Anastasia" or any of the adventures of the pilot and co-pilot
of the space-craft. However, your rendering of the space-craft [like all of
your work] is outstanding.

I have a few potential candidates lined up, time permitting:

The Angel Interceptor from Captain Scarlet
Thunderbirds of course!
Fireball XL5
Stingray
Nautilus from 20,000 Leagues under the Sea
And more Star Wars stuff when I have time - I'd like to add something to complement my X-Wing...

Clave, ever thought about modeling some of the bigger 2 and 4 engine planes? Or dare I say, the B-36??? :)

It has crossed my mind, and the B-36 was one of the few kits I actually completed, so it is extra interesting. My only misgivings are not being able to show much detail in something so large...
