GB-56 1/48 P-38J - Thunderbolts and Lightnings

Spent the night working on the Lightning center wing setion . Fit is really great as always , Also got the gear doors , wheels, fuel tanks and strut assembled glued and cleaned up. I will start getting some paint sprayed on them .

Tonight I spent a hour cleaning on the boom parts and all its inners .Next up to start getting some paint on the Lightning boom parts . Oil coolers consist of 28 parts , 14 parts for the wheel wells . So i now have 42 parts to paint metal i have some serious painting a head of me

Finally got in the mood to piant 36 parts for the booms in the Tamiya LP-11 silver coler . When sprayig Tamiya Lp-11 i spray two thin coats thinned with Mr color leveling thinner . Few things to paint still then time for gloss coat and wash .
