So, hopefully you can see that there's quite a lot in the box. I've left out the sprue with the cannon for the Gustav version as these won't be needed.

Here are the two scheme's I'm contemplating at the moment:

Looking forward to it 😃

Thanks for looking, cheers Greg 👍

Thanks for your interest folks. I thought I had narrowed down the markings choice to Bulgaria and Romania but looking again the Hungarian one is attractive too 😩. Difficult to choose.

Category: OOTB
I'm afraid to find out what Jock is going to correct that to. It should be intermediate worthy competitor. Do Bulgarian, it's harder.

Have no fear! 😉 It's all just for fun as far as I'm concerned. My builds certainly are not advanced as I rarely do anything other than assemble the kit. So, if I was to correct the category it would fall to be intermediate. Happy to change it if that's the general consensus.

Cheers Greg 😊

Greg, if you wouldn't mind, please adjust the category in the header.
We judges need to know which category we are scoring - Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced, and "OOTB" could apply to any of these, depending on the preferences of the builder.
Hi Terry,

That's it changed as requested.
Cheers Greg

Afternoon all!

I have finally made a start on the Stuka.

As per usual the cockpit is the starting line and Special Hobby supply parts pertaining to the D version. That's the darker pieces in the photos.

There are PE rudder pedals to add to the stubs in front of the control column which are microscopic. I have dry fitted the pilot and gunners seats which go in ok although there isn't much room for the gunner once the seat is in situ.

PE sprue with seats next to the tiny straps which requires some assembly before adding to the seats.

To put off the struggle with PE I decided to do the required surgery to the rudder. Some remedial work will be required here 😝.

Replacement rudder. Some fettling needed methinks!

So I'm now off to do battle with photo etch tiny belts.

Thanks for watching 🙂

Cheers Greg 👍
