Morning all!

Time for an update.....

PE belts and rudder pedals attached. In 1/72 these a fiddly as all hell. I lost a couple of wee bits to the carpet monster. At times I was struggling to see the parts once I got them off the fret. Anyway it's now ready for paint😃.

But before that I had a bit of surgery to undertake. This kit is based on the G variant which does not have the recess for the centre line bomb. So Special Hobby have you cut out the section in question and add in their drop in part. It took me a while to drill all those holes. Now I have to cut the part out and see if the replacement will fit. I reckon there will be filler required.

A shot of the side wall details which will look good under paint with a bit of dry brushing.

I hope to make some progress this weekend so may be back shortly.

TFL cheers Greg 👍

That's the pit almost ready to be sandwiched between the fuse Half's. The centre line bomb recess fitted very well so no filler required. Hopefully I'll have more progress soon.

Thanks for looking

Some more progress....

Fuselage buttoned up. Nose engine section added. All good. Wings added......

Hmmmm.,... Outer wing section has no dihedral 😟 I'm guessing it's warped. Everything fits ok but that's plain disappointing. I have tried bending it a bit but nothing gives.

I'm not sure where to go from here, as it just doesn't look right. Any suggestions??

Cheers Greg 👍
