After a bit of Christmas and New years festivity, The judging of votes for Group Build 59 have now been Tallied and presented below,

We had 14 Entries represented in this Group Build this time around.

The Winners for the latest Group Build are,

Category 1 Beginner / Novice / Casual CATEGORY.

We had no Entries in this Section of the Group Build.


Category 2 Intermediate / Casual CATEGORY. 3 Entries this time, completed in this category.

1st Place in this Category goes to Donivanp : Don with his 1/24 F6F-5 Hellcat

2nd Place in this Category goes to Rochie : Karl with his 1/48 Nakajima Ki-84

3rd Place in this Category goes to PlasticHero : Alan with his 1/72 Mitsubishi A6M5 zero


Category 3 Experienced / Expert CATEGORY. 11 Entries rounded out this Section, again a very close race.

1st Place in this Category goes to le_steph40 : Steph for his 1/48 Nakajima Ki-43-I

2nd Place in this Category goes to Ralph Haus : Ralph for his 1/48 Kawasaki Ki-61-1d

3rd Place TIE in this Category goes to fubar57 : George for his 1/48 F6F-5 Hellcat

3rd Place TIE in this Category goes to Ralph Haus : Ralph for his SB2U-2 Vindicator



So…CONGRATULATIONS go to Don and STEPH for their First Place Entries in their respective categories and also extended to the second and Third place getters.

And as Usual….A BIG Thankyou to all who found the time to participate in this Build, well done, a number of great Builds being represented.

We appreciate the time and effort put in by all participants at the various levels, and the outstanding exchange of Information, Hints, Tips, Parts and Decals to those who required something to help their project.

Please continue to support the Group Builds in any way you can whether you build something or just enjoy watching others do their stuff!

I have noticed not many comment on other build threads anymore, just a few it seems. Noticed this in the past 3 or 4 GBs
 
I agree. It seems there used to be a lot more back and forth especially with historical contexts and scheme discussions. I'm probably guilty of this as well, using the like button more now than I used to. Sigh....
Here, like! Instead of the like button I liked your comment. See what I did, see it, yeah I liked your comment. Mostly though I do appreciate your comments on my builds. I may disagree with you some of the time but I always appreciate the input.
