Stop press...!! a couple of weeks ago I noted In another forum a thread on checkerband aircraft and spotted a listing of all known Checkerband Aircraft compiled by David E Brown. I noted very quickly that My Black 1 had changed camps in the Listing from 8.I/KG(J)6 Red/Black Band to 2./I/KG(J)54 Blue White .
I contacted David to confirm the change and he felt that a White bordered black number did not 'Fit' with the markings practice of KG)J)6 which were single color in each other instance. The Checkerbands being Dark and Light, led to the likely conclusion of it being a toned done White with Blue as seen on Black 11 also of KG(J)54, which I have previously built.
I agreed with his assessment, So mid stream/build she will now wear the Blue/White Checkerbands as per my modified profile below,
and also changed in my opening Post.

Thanks for the thought... 
Work completed at the back end of last week, Brass tube added for cannons, cover added to the frame as well as the Nose piece reattached....all nice and neat...!
Wings and tail sections attached too....

Thanks Guys, continue to push forward, checking seams and joins etc. etc. added the inboard wing Slats and rear flaps too and painted the rear fuselage White
for the checkerbands.
