To all my dear, faithful forum friends, thank you so much for your concern and good wishes.

As has been mentioned, I spent over 11 hours in A&E on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, mainly sitting bored sh**less, waiting to go through the various procedures, including ECG, CT scan and other examinations, tests etc etc. (it was very busy in A&E ,and the hospital was at full capacity, with the staff working non-stop over long hours - NHS staff certainly earn their salaries !).
Fortunately, it doesn't look like a stroke, and the symptoms have eased off a little after much rest, though some numbness is still present, along with somewhat dodgy balance at times.
I have been referred to the specialist TIA team at the stroke clinic at another hospital about 12 miles away, just to double check and be treated as required, and will be attending there next Tuesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, I'll still be visiting the forum daily, although probably not contributing much, as typing is slow and difficult (and a PITA !!) due to numb fingers on the right hand, along with the usual stiffness caused by the RA.
So play nicely as I'll be watching ................................

Thanks chaps. Good to know I'm probably OK, but bl**dy frustrated at not being able to do much.
