Thanks all, I started as stated by using the Testors acrylic Olive Drab..... I then tok Tamiya acrylic Olive Drab (much darker than the Testors and add a few drops to the Testors paint. Wasn't really sure what would happen but they moved fine. This gave me a darker OD to use. I then used the Tamiya OD as the base and reversed the process with the Testors OD. This gave me an even darker shade to work with. So far I'm pleased. The wings are mated and it's a very clean mate. No issue at all. The Tail section still has sone work to do and windows to add Tail guns and other internal items.
