Looks like you're doing a hell of a job there so just keep at it. You don't have to be an expert, just go with what it feels right.

Thanks guys, much appreciated!
Still building up the rear of the Sprengkopf, in layers of Mr. Surfacer 500 which 'sinks' alot. Pics up when it looks like something.

Sprengkopf 'in progress'...

Available drawings don't seem to match up with photos, and resin sets disagree again, so the best we can hope for with this is something 'representative' of the original. I have a feeling the whole head is too long aswell, so might cut it back a bit when engines are on wings and I can compare lengths.

Next up cleanup, then spiky fins (whatever they are) to be modified or rebuilt and attached.

Dry fit of port wing and engine showed fuselage attachment point for the Sprengkopf was indeed too long. Cut it back 4 mm for now, but it may go back a touch more yet.
There is a slight step at the rear of the Sprengkopf now, this will be faired into the fuselage before wings are attached.

In progress...

Working on tail wheel well and gear to get the fuselage halves together.
A bit rough (looked better at 00:30 hrs), but will be cleaned up before painting.

Dry fit shows not much will be seen in the end, especially once gear doors are attached, but atleast there will be 'something there' if you look in.
