Hello, my name is Max, I am a member of the search group from Italy. We recently discovered the remains of a German aircraft Heinkel He-111 that apparently crash-landed in the Alps in April 1945 in late days of WWII. Could anyone of you tell me what piece this is? The material is heavy, like bronze, brass or an alloy with copper. It's not steel. Thank you very much.
