At an aviation display at Gateway National Park (the former Floyd Bennet Naval Air Station), I showed my aeronautical acumen to my step-dad by proving a given plane wasn't flying. I wiped the ground under one of the engines and held up my dry finger. "It's not leaking oil. This plane doesn't fly".Amazing! Around engine from the 30s that doesn't leak. Must be empty.
