Don't know about any pad on Meteor wings, especially the Mk1 and MkIII. On the rare occassions Meteors 'tipped' V1's (they were mostly shot down), the wing didn't actually touch - it was the turbulent air between the metor and V1 wings which caused the V1 to go unstable, upsetting the gyro, leading to a premature dive.
Spitfire MkXIV's and Tempest MkV's also 'tipped' V1's occassionally, and neither had any wing 'pad'.
