Hi

Very nice work! What kits do you use?
Depending on the version. For the Mk I we have used mainly the Airfix kit and a few Hasegawa and for the Mk II we have been using the Revell kits (but with many modifications).

My father has finished the Hurricane number 34. This time is the
Turbinlite Hurricane Mk IIB SAM Z3353 - Night Figther Unit at Wittering

Here are some pictures

Many thanks guys

how do you find such unusual planes to do?
Well, to be honest I have been searching for information for this project during more than one year.

I have made contact with great modeller / historian all around the world which have been helping a lot not only for this project but for the previous ones too.

In the case of the GL-26 5265 which was unique, the reference that we have used for came from two books: "South African Colours and Markings book 1" (page 10) and "The Hawker Hurricane Enciclopedia" by Richards A. Frank (page 132)

The information was confirmed by Sinuhe, Prof. Hahn and Stefaan Bouwer (one of the authors of the book series SA&CM). Both of them have helped us a lot with all the SAAF Hurricane which we selected for this project.

In this case, buiilding the model is the easy and faster part.
