The article you linked was dated Dec 2019. Sadly in Aug 2020 WG655 suffered an engine failure shortly after take off and crashed. Fortunately pilot and passenger walked away with only minor injuries. Unfortunately the same could not be said for the aircraft. AIUI it is now in storage and it I don't know what the plans are for it.WG655 coded 910 still survives Flight testing Hawker Sea Fury T.20 'WG655'

This aircraft was a bit unlucky. It crashed in 1990 and was rebuilt using parts from ex-Iraqi Furies with little of the original airframe left. By the time of its crash in 2020 it had been re-engined with an R-2800.
