I am a 3D scanner service with an aviation background. I am looking forward this year to providing services or data to the aviation community. A future goal (could be a few years away) is to provide free to very low cost aircraft scanned data through aviation grants. This way we will all benefit by working with dimensions and shapes from the actual aircraft. This 3D data will eventually be shared with all aviation museums.
