I know, the first thread should be here, unfortunately it's my second- I do apologize for that 
I'm interested in planes for a long time, it started when the movie Top Gun came out- short after that I started building scale models, my first was, of course, an F-14. But my interests changed very fast to WW2 planes, along with building scale planes in scale 1:72. Soon I had 5 P-47s in different versions, a Mustang, a Hellcat, a Corsair, a Lightning, a Do-17 and many others. With the years I lost those interests a little bit, but it came back a few years ago.
Actually I am collecting WW2 tanks and planes in scale 1:16/1:18, planes including Alex Vracius Hellcat, a Ju-87, an Avenger and a FW-190 D9. I think this forum is a great enrichment for me, so glad to be here.
