Help ID this plane

    I found this photo at a local estate, but I can't seem to find the tail number. It appears to be 468123. Thanks for you help.

    It's a Martin B-26B Marauder in any case, can't make out the number on the laptop though.

    I am unable to make out the numbers also. My main study is WW2 fighters so I would go along with A4K's oppinion. But "IF" the numbers on the tail are 468123 then this is a B-26G-25-MA of the 394th BG, 585th? BS of the 9th Air Force. They were part of the occupation forces in Germany and were in the process of being equiped with the new Invaders A-26A at the end of the war. Good Luck captainsimos with finding out the truth. You came to a sight filled with a lot of people that have a lot of knowledge.

    Here is a blow up of the tail and a little playing with the mid-tones. It looks like you are correct. The number is 468123.
