Beautiful! Thats got to be in BC ..... I believe the Canadian Stringbags had canopies .... winter flying would have been ..... a bit cool otherwise
Not a Swordfish but a Blackburn Shark III powered by the same Pegasus engine. Note the square wintips and V shaped interplane struts.

Canada imported two of these as pattern aircraft in 1939 while another 17 were built by Boeing Aircraft of Canada at their Vancouver factory. Used by 4 & 6 squadrons RCAF. In 1936 the RCAF had purchsed 7 Tiger powered Shark II.

I always thought the Shark was a handsome-looking aeroplane. Rather sleek for a biplane, IMHO.

Yep = spot on! I was lazy - that's clearly not a Swordfish :)
