I have looked at reports on 3 US sites and have to admit the Australian ABC report is the best of the four I have seen. I did not see the video of the building collapsing on US sites - probably looked at the wrong links
The powerful earthquake struck central Japan on Monday, killing at least five people, destroying buildings, knocking out power to tens of thousands of homes, and prompting residents in some areas to flee.
I have to say that Japan has mastered the art of earthquake proofing their buildings.
It's tragic that five people lost their lives, but lesser quakes in other countries have deaths in the hundreds if not thousands.
