Japanese Army and Navy camouflage

Did the IJN and IJAAF differ in camouflage colours. I note that Army planes seem to adopt brown as a colour, while Navy planes seem to be green.

Two of the better books (despite age) are Donald W. Thorpe's Japanese Army and Naval Air Force Camouflage and Markings, WW2. Aero Publsihers. I found a couple of used library hardbound copies.
