Oil temperture with data plate on back
Any additional info wanted. Year of manufacture, type aircraft used on, etc

It looks like an Army Type 94 oil temp gauge, you can confirm its Army as it has the Army star stamp on the data plate,
as per attached.

They are Turn and bank type 98 (adopted by army in 1938) and Lubricant oil pressure gauge type 94 (adopted in 1934). More details are unknown as there were many types of planes for them.
