Japanese Zero spark plug

Hello to all..this is my first post. My Dad was assigned to MAG 25 (Marine Air Group 25) in the Pacific theater(Phillipines, Luzon...) He has photos he took during flight and was the rear seat gunner in the two seat Avenger, I believe..I have discovered a "thousand stitch" belt with currency, photos and a japanese spark plug that was possibly from a Zero aircraft, It has three letters on top, and I'm currently doing research on the letters. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to look into tracing the plug? My dad passed in 2005.
