Highly venomous yellow bellied sea snake just sunning itself on the beach this morning. Interesting for sure but I knew not to get too close. There are a ton of creepy crawly things in this country.

Up early this morning as I am going turkey hunting. My baby brother and a friend of ours are down from Northern Ontario to try to take some gobblers. They have hunted the past 2 days and have bagged a couple of birds. Hopefully they left one for me. Here are a couple of pics from a previous hunt.

The Mid Atlantic Air Museum held their annual WW2 event this past weekend. While I go mainly for the airshow side of things there are plenty of military vehicles including some armoured vehicles. I spent very little time on the main show side of the airport as the photo pit is located on the opposite side but i did manage to catch a few American armoured vehicles.

My kids surprised me with a fly in fishing trip for my 65th birthday party. I was supposed to go on my annual fishing trip but when I got there they dropped the surprised on me.

Our ride into the cabin located on the Ogoki River, approx. 75 miles north of Nakina Ontario was on a DHC-3 turbo Otter, registration C-FSOX.

I hope the imbedded video plays for you. It is our final into the river and as you can see ( I hope) there are some rocky areas to navigate by boat and looked rather ominous from the air.
