Hey Guys!
As you may know, I'm building a Trumpeter 1/24 Dora-9 and a MPC Stuka Ju-87-B. So the engines are the Jumo 211 and the Jumo 213 (Dora)... The detail of the two engines is very interesting..... First, the MPC Jumo 211 is quite nice...tight fastener detail, good overall scale I think. As to the Trumpeter Jumo 213... Not so good. The parts fit well but the detail is I think a little off. When compared to the real 213, the model 213 does not look so good. So! What does one do? Make a basic 213 and add your own details!!
I noticed the supercharger of the 213 vs the 211 is much larger! Is this even close? I've seen some pictures but I'm still not sure.
