Roman–Persian Wars - Wikipedia
Have look at the Commanders section, can you those Small crosses? That indicate a "KIA". 3 Emperors KIA and 1 POW.
What on our side? Nothing.
Rome to south turkey 2500km in ancient times
Baghdad to south turkey 600 km
and still never invaded significant Roman territories
also the capital of that iranian empireBy "South Turkey", You mean Kirkuk? Zakho? Mosul? Erbil? Soleimanieh? Sheladiz? Pendro? Mergasur? Akre? Soran? Shaqlave? Zumar? Batifa? Summel? Khankesh?
Dayrabun? Bugha?
And Baghdad is Iraq's Capital, Not ours.
you win some you lose some but in total those wars resulted in the decline of Rome and Iranians so no one wonpops-paolo - What are you trying to prove? Italian superiority?

OK - why do you say that without knowing the rules and types of jets that race there???
A short summary of some of the Reno jet rules are:
1. No swept-wings.
2. No afterburners
And, after an L-29 with a western engine set the record,
3. No experimentals, original certificate only.
If you're looking for a full-time race series - then the World Championship Air Races is about the only one. I'm not too sure about the F1 air races, but don't confuse them with F1 cars - they've got a 200cubic inch maximum engine displacement!all-time GOAT. Also are there any professional air races like NASCAR or f1?
Even a stock L-39 is running on an experimental cert isn't it?I crewed several jets there, won a few races - but all of them fly under US experimental airworthiness certificates
Yes - no jet running in the jet class has a US TCDS so they can only be registered experimental. I think they relaxed some of the modification requirements if they are sanctioned by the manufacturer. It's been 6 years since my last stint so I know things have changed. BTW, right now the Pylon Race School (PRS) is going on.Even a stock L-39 is running on an experimental cert isn't it?

There's nothing regularly happening with jets though.
They were regularly pulling 100,000+ spectators when running under the Red Bull banner...i was talking about fame wise
this post is late but btw the SAAF calls them impalas and use them for training and they were used in the border war. one took a SAM to the side and managed to return home- the warhead malfunctioned.the MB 339 Has been operated by a civilian test pilot school in Mojave California, those birds came from South Africa if I recall
