Was at the Waterloopbos again last week, like I described in post #884,

To show one of the things they did there, I wanted to show you the model they made of the Rhine and IJsel rivers. Near Arnhem, the IJssel splits from the Rhine and they wanted to test what measurements to take for all kinds of calamities. So they made both rivers at scale.

This is the river Rhine. In the distance, you can see the dam that regulates the water to the model.

Another model was a model of the harbour of Marsa-el-Bregha in Libia. These are the old machines to create waves.
