As with GreenKnight, I've worn glasses for many years (since I was 4). I've fallen asleep (and rolled over them) often, and haven't broken them. Of course, YMMV.

I'm sure you're right that the picture is posed. I've never heard of somebody fixing their tie while laying down.

Loosening it to get more comfortable?

"The National Naval Aviation Museum (NNAM) is no longer working to acquire the "Phillipine" Martin JMR-1 Mars located at Sprout Lake Canada. While there was a discussion of a possible trade agreement, NNAM was unable to secure the funds necessary to fund the deal. NNAM no longer has a trade program. I heard no discussion of the decision being related to any election.

I hope the current owners are able to find a suitable home in the U.S. for the public to enjoy this magnificent aircraft. Please let me know if we can assist you in the future."
