Kick some *ss mate! Good luck!

[Catch22]

good luck wayne
was wondering how do you transport your models without breaking them ?

He posted that in one of the Expo threads, don't remember which though. He takes a box that the model will fit in, and lays those plastic grocery bags in them and it seems to work.

Doesn't bear thinking about what would happen if some clown bumped into him and knocked all that work for six!
I think I'd shoot myself, ......after ripping the b***s of the clown!

cheers catch

[Wayne Little]

If I knew how to find it......I would point you in the right direction Rochie!

Anyway, yes the good old Plastic Grocery bag, "Fluff" them up then place them in a suitable size box and pat them down without letting all the air out.
Place 3 -5 bags in rotating them so the carry 'handles' are not all in the same place and form a sort of bowl in the bags, form the "bowl"shape to suit the aircraft. and there you have it, a nice air cushion...would you like a photo reconstruction!

while you think about it another model!

[rochie]

no your alright my friend i was just wondering about how you did it as terry said you must have nightmares whilst travelling to competions

[Wayne Little]

Nah, not broken one yet!...touch wood! (touches head)

Just got to use the right size box and number of bags...easy!!

Dora time!

[Airframes]

Verrrry nice! 1/48th ?

[Matt308]

Awesome! But a little attention to the aerial would have raised it up immensely.

[109ROAMING]

Nice

agree with you Matt

[rochie]

wonder if it's like that because the canopie's open ?

[Screaming Eagle]

nice! the aerial also drew my attention, maybe wayne can elaborate further?

[Wayne Little]

The aerial wire should drop away slack, much better than has been depicted, this particular aerial is rather ordinary to say the least!

[Matt308]

Kind of a shame really for such a well done model. Oh well, easy fix.
