That's the first time I've seen footage of female Japanese ground crew.

I wonder if there is a similar concept to "Rosie the Riveter" in Japan? Something like "Miko the Mechanic"?

They were called Women's Volunteer Corps (女子挺身隊 Joshi-teishin-tai) at the age over 14, under 40.
