This is a cabinet I built out of some old double glazed windows. Some one asked me how I display them (models).
All the British and Russian Aircraft I built in my teens 30+ years ago. The German Aircraft were all done over the last 10 years. I,ll add some more photos later. There's lots of other junk in there to, bear scull, mummified mice, vintage tools bits of this and bits of that.

Yes, it does have lights but I haven't gotten around to wiring them up yet, but then the house still has the same broken window it had when I bought the place in 89 ! So it's on the list. Anyways here's a few shots of the contents. A few of the models I never finished and most are missing bits and pieces, prop blades, under carriage, machine guns bombs etc. What 30 years and moving from basement suits to apartments to rental houses to owning can do to a model collection !
















Most of the recent pictures of the Luftwaffe planes I have posted here in the past. Including the 109 I started 2 years ago and still haven't finished

You can see them just to the right of the Green Vauxhaul Dinkey Toy. Found them on the bottom sill between the studs when I tore out some really cheap cheesy fake wood panelling in my basement. House was built in 68, I bought it in 88 so it's anybody's guess how long they had been trapped there. The were a couple of holes in the header like maybe the builder or some one had planned to run wires down the wall from the floor above.
Funny, when we first bought the house the cats would sit and stare at various spots at the walls. My wife and I were beginning to think the house was haunted.
Being a bit of a twisted bastard I just had to save them.
