Hello to all

Here is short introduction, about our self. My father, Raul Hrubisko, began modelling at the age of 14. His interest, lake many other modellers', was sparked by an imaginative book, a wartime story involving the Mosquito. Soon followed the interest for the airplane and then for modelling. Our aim is to model all the aircraft types that flew with the Royal Air Force, the Fleet Air Arm and all the Commonwealth in the time frame between 1934 and 1947, in all major versions. And to include also Lend-Lease and captured enemy types.

Beautiful work Santiago! What great collections!!!!

I'd be very interested in a description of your resin casting technique as I want to learn to do that.
Also in your Spitfire PR.19 build - I'm going to converting one from various kits shortly.

We have many series / subcollection done so far but they are even more to do. We estimate that the final number will be around 1.500 models and we only have 424 done up to day plus 133 which will be rebuild (were made many years ago without our current standar).

My father spent almost 4 years to complete the Spitfire collection. At that moment I was too young to help him so he had to do all alone(reaserch and build). Since 2005 we have been working as a team. Since my second daugther borned 4 months ago I haven't been able to build any model so I have been doing the reaserch part. I hope I can restart building again in less than a year.

Well just to give you a fully idea of our models here are a few photos of our display cabinet (were taken 4 months ago when the CAC wan't completed nor the Hurricane one).

Rigth now we have 424 models done in a good standar (for us), 133 models to rebuild and 554 kits to build.

Module 1 (right and up)

First line

Second, third and four lines of Spitfire

Fifth line

Module 2 (right and down)

First line (Early british jet fighter series + more)

Second line

Fifth line (models made by my father many years ago and we will rebuild them in due time).

Module 3 (up and left)

First line (Mosquito series)

Second line (Miles series)

Third line (Hawker Tornado, Tempest, Typhoon, Fury and Sea Fury Series).

Fourth line (Corsair, Wildcat, Hellcat, ets series)

Fifth line (Tailess, canard, Martin baker series, etc)

Module 4 (left and down) (All these models were made by my father many years ago and we will rebuild them in due time).
