Clave type in 55th fighter group in google and see what you find.......their personal web-site along with "Little friends of the 8th AF" by buddy Peter Randall, several pics of Miss Velma to study under the 55th fg link

Good stuff - 77th Fighter Sqn done:

[Wildcat]

Very nice Clave!

Clave a suggestion to make the codes on Dizzie not quite so large. true they are black but do not go outside the US national markings up or down....

also your forward anti-glare shield is too thick as the Piano keys of the group really stand out

note the thickness of the piano blacks behind pilot and commander Nichols

this may or may not help

[Clave]

OK, I see what you mean - is this any better?

[Clave]

Oh, and a 328 FS machine that I finished yesterday:

[Wildcat]

[Gnomey]

Nice Clave

[Clave]

Thanks

Here is 308 FS's 'American Beauty'

[Erich]

great looking profiles Clave ! yes I think the second "D. Rebel" of the 20th fg is much better.....

[Gnomey]

Excellent Clave

[Clave]

I think 'American Beauty' needs the colours toned down a tad..

I'll fix it later - long weekend = more plane time...

[Clave]

Version 2 - Colour changes..

Nice stuff Clave!

[Erich]

Clave, your black/white checked Stang should be 78th fighter group, 83rd squadron. the H in the code is too wide

[Clave]

Oh, thanks for that... I seem to have mis-read something...

[Clave]

Better Erich?
