Need an instrument panel for Tamiya Bf-109 E - in Texas USA

Hey, Guys,
After many years away, I started back in to the hobby. Boy, have things changed! I have a Tamiya Bf-109 E 4/7 Trop that I have started about 3 yrs ago. After several moves I am settled in and ready to get back to work on the plane. However, I am missing the instrument panel. I have looked around for an after market kit with no luck at Squadron or Sprue Brothers. Does anyone have a detail kit or even the kit panel they would be willing to sell? Any help would be much appreciated!

What scale? Have one in 1:72 you could have.

Darn it, I forgot to mention the scale. It is a 1/48 scale kit. But, thank you for the very kind offer.

I think Aires still make a 1/48th scale resin cockpit for the '109 series. Either Squadron in the USA, or Hannant's in the UK, should have it listed. Hannant's ship worldwide, and have over half a century experience, so you won't have problems if you order from them.

If you don't want to pay money, why not build it yourself, if you have a half decent printer all you need is to fiddle a bit to get a real insturment panel photo then print to 1/48 scale and then find a spare piece of streched sprue, glue, gloss and thats it

Rogi, damn! I am in IT and should have thought that. I'll spend some time googling around and see what I can find. Thanks for the kick in the arse.

Np, there was a really good site on how to build them, but its lost in my damn web links, if I fish it out I'll send it to ya

I hope it works out, and remember invest in Future Floor Wax, its amazing for anything from decals to instruement panels

If you ruin across that link I would so appreciate it. As for the Future..... bought some this weekend. Called something like Pledge with future shine. Practiced with it yesterday on some sheets of styrene. Looks good, I just need to work out the exact application techniques to get more comfortable with it.

Still trying to search it down but I'll let you know if I find the right link.

You can apply future straight on the model as is, you don't need to distil it (although you can with water, but it loses its shine which for applying decals is a bad thing)

We also use it to protect canopies before and sometimes after painting.
