    a "phishing" page link that was somewhere on ebay's server and they blocked it.

    Never seen that one before. I've had Emails telling me that I needed to update my Paypal account. Those I deleted when Paypal support told me that they never send such notices. Now those go straight to my junk mail where they get deleted in bulk.

    we have a special account for ebay and any online transactions. We keep the account empty until we want to use it, and then only put enough cash in to pay for the item. Ive been burnt a few times by scammers so i just dont take thge risk anymore

    Careful, those skirt wearing lads also toss telephone poles as well as bigass stones attached to a chain (not Jan of course, but Scotsmen) :lol:
