Clearing the Reichswald.
Operation Veritable was the First Canadian Army's operation to clear the Reichswald Forest and prepare to cross the Rhine River. Lead by the British XXX Corps, British and Canadian Troops engaged in heavey combat to clear the Reichswald Forest and take the German cities of Cleve and Goch.
