Hello again!

To have a 1/72 scale "repulsive thunderbox"-P 47N on shelf, I used two Revell P-47D(M) kits. One- main base, second- only to extend wing iterior parts (accordingly to original P-47N constructors idea):

Some parts are taken from Italieri P-47N questionable kit (wheels with struts, propeller, engine with cowling).
Of course, I added armrests in pilot's seat- essential thing in long distance flight over Pacific (ha! ha!).

Decals: Kagero by Techmod (Polish producer)

Paint: Gunze C, Alclad.

Pilot: Lt. Henry Stampe 19FS/318FG/7AF, Ie Shima, 1945

That's gotta be just about the most well-done P-47 model I've ever seen! Impressive! Thanks for posting photos of your scale modelling talent.

That is a Nice Crate!!! The only step I may of taken further was a dark grey wash/black for the panel lines I have only done it on 1/48 Recon birds of P51's.

Very lovely P-47! The metal finish is excellent. It looks fantastic all around. By the way, as for your thumbnail pic...I used to love Black Sabbath when I was a kid.
