The tool I've linked above works fine, will just need to convert the jpegs into pdf. Pics are 1156 x 1496.

Another way is to use this web tool:Pastylink | Paste your link. Paste the 1st page of the issuu url address in the search field, start search, the thumbnails will appear. The service noted that DownThemAll will work (an extension for the Firefox), so I've installed that. Click somewhere on the page, sellect all items (Ctrl + A), right-click on selected part, the DTA options will appear in the context menu, choose what you need (I've clicked 'DownThemAll! Selection...').
